All texts, images, and any other content on this website are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or use of the aforementioned content, in any form, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Ruption, Lda, or other relevant trademark holders.

All represented brands, including their respective logos, are legally protected.

2. PRIVACY POLICY – RUPTION

Ruption, Lda is committed to protect the privacy of its customers and website users. This Privacy Policy outlines your rights and how your personal information is collected, processed, and used.

2.1 DATA CONTROLLERS

Ruption, Lda, headquarterits located at Rua Professor Henrique de Barros Nº4 – 4C, 2685-339 Prior Velho, Portugal, and owns the Tax Number 515503436. Ruption, Lda., it’s the owner of the domain ruption.pt, and, for that reason, is responsible for processing personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

2.2 DATA COLLECTION

We collect different categories of personal data from you. Personal data is all information related to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by assignment to an identifier such as a name. Personal data includes, for example, information such as your name, your address, your telephone number and your date of birth (if stated). Statistical information that cannot be directly or indirectly associated with you – such as the popularity of individual websites of our offer or the number of users of a page – does not qualify as personal data. Data is collected directly and indirectly. In both cases, data will only be collected to the extent necessary; the data will only be processed for the purposes stated under this document. It is your decision whether you want to transmit data to us that optimizes the use of our services for you yet is not necessary. Corresponding data fields are marked as ‘voluntary’.

Ruption collects personal data in the following ways:

  • Directly, when you provide data through forms, service requests, or direct contact.
  • Indirectly, through website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • The types of personal data collected may include:

  • Professional information (for recruitment purposes).
  • Data necessary for contractual and service execution purposes.

2.3 YOUR PERSONAL DATA CAN BE COLLECTED AND PROCESSED IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:

  1. For the purposes of concluding and executing a contract, in particular when acquire a Ruption 
  2. Through Ruption website when you can (i) request information, (ii) submit an employment application, (iii) request information or a Client Use Case, (iv) register for an event or webinar, (v) subscribe our communications, giving us your express and prior consent to use your personal data.
  3. When you visit our facilities, as a potential client, giving us your express consent to use your personal data.
  4. Through indirect collecting – using Google Analytics.

2.4 THE DATA COLLECTED IMMEDIATELY INCLUDE:

Data that you actively and consciously transmit to us when using our services, e.g. by the use of our contact form,

Data that you actively and deliberately transmit to us as part of the use of our services, further data that you voluntarily transmit to us, e.g. data fields that you have filled in and marked as ‘voluntary’

Your personal data will not be reused for other purposes that are not previously identified, or that are not related to the initially purposes of being collected.

2.5 MINORS:

Our website is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

If persons under the age of 16 transmit personal data to us, this is only permitted if the parent/guardian has consented or has consented to the consent of the minor. For this purpose, the contact data of the legal guardian must be communicated to us in accordance with Art. 8 (2) GDPR in order to convince us of the consent or the consent of the legal guardian. These data as well as the data of the minor will then be processed in accordance with this data protection declaration.

If we determine that a minor under the age of 16 has sent us personal data without the parental consent or consent of the minor, we will delete the data immediately.

 2.6 FOR WHAT REASONS CAN YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE USED? 

  • Sending client’s marketing information, including sending a newsletter to those who have requested it, provided that they have given their consent and have not refused the use of their contact details for this purpose;
  • Contacting users who have completed and submitted a form, provided they have given their consent to be contacted;
  • Drawing up statistics that allow us to see how Ruption, Lda can improve the level of service it provides and thus meet user expectations more effectively.
  • The personal data collected is necessary for the ordering and delivery of goods.
  • Client Management proposes. The data collected is intended for registration as a customer, collection of services provided, and future contacts, including Ruption information activities.
  • As a website visitor, you don’t need to provide any personal data to use Ruption However, we have statistical information regarding your use of the website in aggregate and anonymous form, via Google Analytics
  • Ruption performs the definition of profiles based on information related to the interactions with our organization. This information is analyzed to identify preferential profiles that allow us to send personalized and adequate information to the defined profile, in order to improve our offer and adequately plan our communications.
  • Marketing & Communication actions. Your data will be collected and used for Marketing purposes (communications, events, webinars, client use cases, datasheets, services, and other information that we consider relevant), in the exact terms selected by you.
  • For recruitment proposes. During the Recruitment and selection process, Ruptioncollects and processes personal data from its candidates, for the purpose of the eventual contract celebration. In case of spontaneous application, they are subject of analysis, in which Ruption requests express consent to keep them on our database for a certain period of time (up to 2 years) in the expectation of a future professional opportunity.

 2.7 DATA SECURITY

Ruption reserves the personal data of the holders only for the period strictly necessary for the purpose.

Access to your personal data stored by us is limited to our employees and the service providers commissioned by us, who have to deal with this personal data due to their tasks.

If third parties gain access to your data, we have obtained your permission or there is a legal basis for this.

2.8 RIGHT OF ACCESS AND RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION AND PORTABILITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • The data subject has the right of access, rectification, portability and deletion of their personal data at any time.
  • The data subject may refuse the use of their details for the purpose of receiving marketing materials from Ruption.

2.9 TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES AND LEGAL BASIS

Ruption does not transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), except when required to provide services to users located outside the EEA.

a) INTERNATIONAL USE

If the User is outside Portugal, we inform you that the data is hosted on a server located in the European Union, and data protection rules apply which may be different from those applicable in your country of origin, even within the European Union.

b) LINKS

Ruption website contains links to other websites. Ruption, Lda is not responsible for the privacy policies of these websites. Users of the Ruption website are advised, when accessing other electronic sites, to consult the pages within those sites which refer to their privacy policies. This text refers only to the privacy policy applicable to Ruption website.

Disabling cookies in your internet browser will prevent Google from tracking any part of your visit to the pages within this site.

c) DATA SECURITY

Whenever sensitive information is collected or used, the data is encrypted using SSL (Security Sockets Layer).

Thanks to the SSL protocol, which protects the transmission of all sensitive data over the Internet, all information is treated with maximum security. Your privacy is guaranteed, and the risk of data being intercepted during communication is completely nullified.
